Last night I attended the Scottish Press Awards in Glasgow and was proud to watch our photographer Bill Murray pick up the runner-up prize for Sports Photographer of the Year.

Bill has been with SNS Group for nearly 20 years and though he may be new to the world of Twitter and Snapchatting, he remains one of our best technical talents, with a great eye for quality imagery and an invaluable “old-school” approach to researching the job and ensuring the client is satisfied with the finished product. It was superb to see his talent recognised by others in the industry last night.

Huge congratulations are also in order for last night’s winner, Jane Barlow who now holds the honour of Sports Photographer of the Year for the next 12 months. A great achievement.

They say a picture speaks a thousand words, therefore I reckon it’s only right that I leave you with Bill’s award entries to round-off this post. Well done again B, from your whole team here at SNS.
